DJ Freight was established in 1999 by David and Chris Stuchbury. Together, they have an extensive background in the boating industry, including boat building, yacht racing, owning charter boats and operating a travel-lift and storage yard. Through their experience, David and Chris saw the need for a specialized marine transport and boat carrier service, with a focus on attention to detail and customer satisfaction, which lead to the formation of DJ Freight.

Initially based in Airlie Beach, DJ Freight began with a single truck hauling weekly to Brisbane, but the business quickly expanded and relocated to Brisbane some years ago. In 2012 DJ Freight was purchased by Simon and Natania, who bring with them 20+ years experience in the transport industry. DJ Freight now boasts a fleet of 8 purpose-built vehicles, including 3 low-loader semi-trailers, allowing us to transport a large range of boats both within Queensland and Australia-wide.

Although DJ Freight has grown, the dedication to personal service and customer satisfaction remains. The trust placed in DJ Freight by boat manufacturers and returning private customers is a testament that their experience and expertise in marine and boat transport are second to none.
